Description/achievement of initiative

2010: GE & GE Healthcare commit, as part of GE’s $6 billion healthymagination initiative, to expand its Maternal-Infant Care technology portfolio to increase local access to care in more than 80 countries and reduce maternal and infant mortality, more than doubling its presence in the developing world. Additionally, the company will continue to deploy its signature program, Developing Health Globally™, which has already impacted the lives of more than 5.3 million people in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
