Partner(s)

International Cooperation and Development Fund

Description/achievement of initiative

The program cultivates and nurtures a talented pool of human resources for DCs in order to solidify the foundation of all other forms of development in our partner countries.

Implementation methodologies

The program provides full financial support for tuition and living expenses to foreign students from DCs pursuing academic degrees in development related issues. These courses focus on the development needs of our partner countries by addressing issues such as tropical agriculture, aquatic sciences, business administration, information technology, human resource development, medicine and public health, or various fields of engineering. After completing their studies and returning home, participants are expected to drive the process of development in their own nations.
