+1 Social Step
Description/achievement of initiative

+ 1 Social Step turns the minutes individuals or corp. spend on the internet into the education of children, more green activities. Financial resources raised by +1 Step, transferred to social projects.

The objective of Educational Volunteers is to create and implement educational programs and extracurricular activities for children aged 7-16, so that they can acquire skills, knowledge and attitudes supporting their development as rational, responsible, self-confident, peace-loving, inquisitive, cognizant, creative individuals, who are against any kind of discrimination, respect diversity and are committed to the basic principles of the Turkish Republic.

TEMA's mission is to raise public awareness of environmental problems, specifically soil erosion, deforestation, biodiversity loss and climate change.

Users who download the Ekle Destekle application, provide financial support to the social project they have chosen while they are spending time on the internet.Not only does this application provide civil society institutes and social projects with the sustainable financial resources they need, it also enables brands to communicate with their target populations and also support a social project. The users in return continue to do what they usually do on the internet and support the NGO's they would like to support. The financial resources raised by Ekle Destekle , transferred to social projects and used by the institutes are audited and published on the official internet site of Ekle Destekle http://www.ekledestekle.com. Ekle Destekle users will chose to support Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey, TEMA or any other NGOs. They will support one or more NGOs of their choice. Our target is to raise nearly 100.000 Turkish liras for the two NGOs with 30.000 volunteers.
