Total commits to develop the solar photovoltaic solutions market by providing access to solar lamps and kits to 5 million low income people by 2015, through the growth of an efficient and sustainable.
Implementation methodologies
Total has a wholly owned affiliate, Total Access to Solar, that is implementing this social business. Together with the help of other affiliates from the Group in the target markets in Africa and Asia, Total has more than 20 employees worldwide working in this activity. Furthermore, Total Access to Solar can rely on the 4,500 retail outlets network in Africa as a unique advantage.
