Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI) Phase 3
Description/achievement of initiative

EBRD has a sustainable energy financing target of $8 billion for the period 2012 to 2014 with a total investment target of $30 billion including cofinancing with partners which supports SE4ALL goals.

Implementation methodologies

EBRD has just approved Phase 3 of its Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI) which focuses on energy efficiency and renewable energy. Since its launch, EBRD SEI finance between 2006 and 2011 reached $11 billion for 464 projects.
