Description/achievement of initiative
By 2015, Naruto University of Education will make our contribution to realize the sustainable development in the world through the implementation of following projects;
-Teaching sustainable development concepts through the lectures in undergraduate and graduate courses.
-Deploying campaign to promote the reduction, reuse and recycle of wastes, particularly paper and saving electricity and water.
-Supporting the environmental activities of schools in Tokushima prefecture collaborating with local boards of education including Tokushima Prefectural Board of Education.
-Raising the quality of education in developing countries by the participation in the international educational cooperation activities through the collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Implementation methodologies
The progress report on these projects will be uploaded annually to our website.
