Description/achievement of initiative
The Powering Agriculture Energy Grand Challenge provides financial and technical assistance to innovators worldwide to promote clean energy solutions within developing countries' agriculture sectors.
Implementation methodologies
The approaches to achieve the goal set by the commitments are Through ‘Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development’, partners have committed resources to finance grants, technical assistance, and guarantees to support the increased use of clean energy technology in developing countries’ agriculture sectors. These resources support commitments to promote the development of clean energy technology for farmers and agribusinesses, and to increase access to financial services to help clean energy enterprises grow.
