World Benchmarking Alliance (Main Organizer)

This multi-stakeholder dialogue will explore how corporate disclosure and accountability can incentivize and stimulate action on the SDGs for the Decade of Action while ensuring no one is left behind. Specifically, it will spotlight steps that the UN, governments, companies, and civil society can take to strengthen global norms for transparency and build momentum for a “race to the top” from businesses on the SDGs through ranking initiatives like the World Benchmarking Alliance “SDG2000,” a groundbreaking listing of companies in the global north and south that have the most influence over the planet’s ability to achieve a sustainable future.
