The “Global Opportunities for SDGs” (GO4SDGs), is a new enabling partnership that curates successful initiatives, highlights existing tools and enhances capacity of countries and regions to demonstrate progress towards the SDGs. It does this in three key areas: business innovation, especially SMEs; sustainable lifestyles and youth; and transformative government policy. This side event will introduce the “Menu of Services” of GO4SDGs; showcase the different tools that the partners behind the program will bring to countries and regions; highlight priorities in accelerating and raising ambition for building inclusive economies that integrate sustainability concerns in recovery plans, showcase inspiring examples of how actors are helping to jump-start job creation, and demonstrate the critical role of small and medium size enterprises in linking economic recovery to SDG objectives.
