The event will raise visibility of the recent UN work and collaboration on development of the guidebook on preparing science, technology and innovation for SDGs roadmaps. It is an effective policy-making and communication tool for Member States and beyond.

The event will also announce the global Pilot Programme on STI for SDGs roadmaps to build capacity for and scale up adoption of the Member States’ STI actions for the SDGs.

It will be an informal gathering for STI stakeholders to celebrate the achievement made so far on the roadmap process.

The event will promote international partnerships to create innovative systemic solutions and technologies to accelerate the attainment of SDGs and to leave no one behind.
