Description/achievement of initiative

We have two major activites at present regarding the sustainable development, to whhivh we have commited staff and resources. One of these is ESDA MPhil is Rural development which is scheduled to take off in 2013/2014 with the first group of students.Our graduate school is implementing this programme and is comminted to its success.The second major activity is the participation in the CECAR Africa prioject, where UDS is one of the major partners providing staff, students and also project acommodation as well as the study sites.

Implementation methodologies

We have other similar sustainable development intiiatives also planned for later, which we will report on when they pass planning stage.We stand by our declaration to take action now and in the future and will provide annual reports regarding our activites.
