Scotland is committed to ambitious statutory targets for emissions reduction. The Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009 places a duty on all of the public sector in Scotland to support the delivery of the Scottish Government's emissions reduction targets and to make the required adjustments to adapt to climate change.
