The Future We Want: A conversation with people on a post-2015 development framework (UNDP)
Description/achievement of initiative

Evidence and perspectives from around the world, generated through inclusive consultations, which will feed into the work of the High Level Panel that the UN Secretary General will convene on post-2015 and also the intergovernmental discussions leading to the special event that UN member states have asked the President of the GA to convene in September 2013.

Implementation methodologies

Through inclusive national consultation processes to stimulate the debate on the post-2015 development agenda; thematic consultations with academia, media, private sector, employers and trade unions, civil society, and decision makers to discuss key issues pertaining to the post-2015 development agenda; support an open interaction and information exchange between stakeholders and harness the voices of citizens around the world and connect them to the formal UN post-2015 by using social media tools and web based technologies; and technical analysis of possible post-2015 scenarios and its impact on human development and sustainability.
