This partnership is under the umbrella of the Forum Leaders-adopted Framework for Action on Energy Security in the Pacific with its vision of An Energy Secure Pacific: 2010 - 2020 (FAESP). The FAESP is based on the premise of a Many-Partners-One-Team and a Whole-of-Sector approach. Two coordinating mechanisms have been established to ensure successful implementation of the FAESP. The Pacific Energy Oversight Group is made up of CROP agencies only while the PEAG is the consultative platform for the PEOG, PSIDS, development partners and the industry. The Secretariat of the Pacific Community is the lead regional energy agency and has been tasked with providing the secretariat to both the PEOG and PEAG.
