Expert Group Meeting on UN System Road Map to Support a Global Technology-facilitation Platform

This informal Expert Group Meeting is the first face-to-face meeting of the newly established informal working group on global technology facilitation, which was held at UN Headquarters on 11 February 2015.

The meeting was convened jointly by UN DESA and UNEP and focused on a UN system road map to support a global technology-facilitation platform. Among other things, it discussed the objectives, work plan and organization of the informal working group. It reviewed progress towards the group’s tasks and discussed possible group inputs to the post-2015 development agenda negotiations with the co-facilitators of the 2014 General Assembly structured dialogues on options for a global technology facilitation mechanism.
