20 years after the historic Rio Earth Summit, the world is again coming together to define our path
to the future at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development. Green Economy in the Context of Sustainable Development and Poverty Eradication was defined as one of the two overarching themes
of the conference. But what exactly is a green economy? Can a green economy be the path to universal human well-being?

This webinar will:
- Explore the "what," the "why," and the "how" of a green economy
- Share the collaborative process which produced the 9 principles of a Green Economy
- Highlight major areas of negotiation and debate for Rio +20
- Describe the critical role of a civil society in the transition to a green and fair economy, and elaborate ways to have your voice heard
