The Expert Group Meeting, which was held in New York from 29 to 30 March 2007, brought together distinguished energy experts from African and Asian countries to present country and project experiences on small-scale production and use of liquid biofuels and to discuss in-depth policy options for replication and scaling-up as well as to review a draft background and information paper for CSD-15. The meeting was organized by the Energy and Transport Branch of the Division for Sustainable Development.
