This event is jointly organized by the Division for Sustainable Development Goals, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA/DSDG) and the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment (MoTIE) of The Gambia. It aims to preset the findings and analytical results of a rapid assessment on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in The Gambia. Through discussions among stakeholders, the event will explore and identify policy interventions for enhancing MSME resilience to shocks and risks in the post-COVID-19 economic resurgence.
