On the margins of the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) 2017, please join a high-level event on universal health coverage (UHC). This event will reemphasize the importance of country-led health system strengthening for UHC as a key driver to achieve SDG3 by 2030. Linking with the theme of the HLPF2017, this event will demonstrate country examples of UHC as one of key contributing factors of SDG1 and SDG8. The discussion will centre on two key themes: i. UHC as a key driver to achieve healthy lives for all; and ii. Resource needs for attaining health related SDGs.
