The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Interministerial Working Group for the Implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, together with the Government of Japan, European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and UN Inter-Agency Task Team for STI for SDGs will discuss the role of STI for SDGs Roadmaps in the post-COVID 19 recovery context.

The countries active in the Global Pilot Programme for STI for SDGs Roadmaps will explain their role in increasing the development of national STI systems, mapping the STI capacities and stakeholders and facilitating evidence for informed-policy making and better cooperation in crises. STI for SDGs Roadmaps should serve as potential pathways to sustainable recovery and future resilience and support the implementation of STI for SDGs roadmaps and learning from practical experiences and success stories in order to prepare for the Decade of Action and Delivery.
