Corruption is bad for all, but it affects groups that are already marginalised more severely. To achieve the 2030 targets and ensure no-one is left behind, there is a need to strengthen the links between those advancing the interests of marginalised groups and the anti-corruption community. With this aim, the Equal Rights Trust has partnered with Transparency International to undertake unprecedented research to explore and highlight the relationship between discrimination and corruption. During this event, we propose to discuss the findings of this research through an interactive exchange with relevant stakeholders on the reinforcing relationship between corruption and discrimination.
