Decade of action for the SDGs- Youth led dialogue on SDG accountability in the time of Covid-19 and beyond
Girls Advocacy Alliance/Plan International with UN Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth (TBA), Governments of Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Liberia, Nepal, and Uganda (TBA)
The Girls Advocacy Alliance [and cohosts] will host a virtual dialog between youth activists and representatives. The dialogue will be co-designed and created by youth advocates and moderated by the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth. It will explore the theme of youth participation and Gender in SDG Accountability.
Topics will include:
Investing in girls and young women as agents of change
How recommendations of youth advocates can be implemented in SDG accountability
maintaining a robust VNR Review process that continues to engage girls and young women in all their diversity
