This side event will focus on linking data from new evidence on the costs and impacts of fulfilling sexual and reproductive health needs, known as Adding It Up, to the SDGs and reaffirming the responsibility and commitments made by governments, UN agencies and civil society organizations to address SRHR. The event will center SRHR as essential to achieving the SDGs and will look at country and regional policies that support the inclusion of SRHR in order to achieve progress within SDG 3. The SDGs will be a key mechanism for rebuilding and repairing health and development systems post-COVID-19, and inclusion of SRHR in these efforts will be critical.
