Tuesday, 7 July 2020
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Virtual (new york time)

Side Event

Republic of Korea

Knowledge sharing is a fundamental part of implementation of the Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. VNRs are one of the instruments of knowledge exchange. SDG 17 calls for enhancing “knowledge sharing on mutually agreed terms”, transcending traditional “donor-recipient” relations towards shared learning.

The side event aims to explore experiences and practices in strengthening country capacities for knowledge sharing for attainment of the SDGs. It will provide examples of how countries and institutions, from one side, codified and shared knowledge and good practices and from another side, used knowledge to address concrete development challenges.
