The main objectives of the event are to (a) discuss the recent global advancements in the field of pandemic preparedness and response, including in the context of the G20 Rome Global Health Summit; and (b) present the final report and recommendations of the G20 High Level Panel on Financing the Global Commons for Pandemic Preparedness and Response, and discuss how these recommendations could support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, and promote a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
