Aiming to stimulate dialogue on a sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 crisis and around the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development, the United Nations Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) is hosting a side event during the HLPF, bringing together leaders from multilateral institutions, governments and civil society to speak directly to the need for a new economic planning model for greening the economic recovery and building strong foundations to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.

Thematically focused on green jobs, building a nature-positive economy and filling the green finance gap, the discussion will bring insights from PAGE’s Green Recovery support and national and global knowledge on best practices and challenges for leveraging recovery action to achieve the SDGs. Scheduled from 8-9.30 am ET, this dialogue will be available in four languages with simultaneous translation: English, French, Spanish and Russian.
