Information on the purpose of your organization

-Ohaha Family Foundation exists to reaffirm faith in the family, promote the quality of life for all especially of ?rural dwellers?, promote social progress and improved standard of living, fight prevalent diseases, fight poverty, encourage education at all level for all citizens, homelessness, strengthen marriages and families, promote justice, equity and the rule of law.
-We exist to defend the poor, inspire and empower them to live fruitful lives.
-Advocate for justice for all unjust
-Ohaha Family Foundation in accordance with the fundamental principles of the United Nations organization and the international conventions, calls for gender and improved protection of the basic rights of the vulnerable especially women and children.
-Reduction of poverty
- All people regardless of culture, nationality, religion, race or ethnicity are members of one human family created by God, and have a right to life, health, education, shelter, food and be a member of a supportive family.
-Ohaha supports the rights to family life as outlined in the universal declaration of human rights, which describes the family as the natural and fundamental unit of the society and declares it entitled to protection by society and states.
- Empower women as a tool for family sustainability; strengthen women?s influence in domestic, social and political spheres, free private enterprise and self employment by means of partnership training activities, literatures, education, informational exchange with other nongovernmental organization in Nigeria and elsewhere.
-To uphold children's rights as enumerated in the United Nations charter and prevent prosecute and discourage child abuse, child trafficking, spousal abuse and elders abuse.
-To educate the people for adoption of loving norms of a good family member and to inculcate into the people's mind, ideals of family unity. To work for the uplifting of the status of the families in the society.
-To fight against exploitation, injustice and corruption if found against any individual, class, community in the society.
-To promote family planning and health awareness of proven life style, medical care and other social valves for better care of citizen of Nigeria particularly in rural areas.
-To organize forums, seminars, camps etc for spreading good family values, family living habits, morals valves, family culture and methods of developing self confidence etc and to create family units within human reach for the above activities.
-Provide scholarship/financial help to the poor rural/urban/village people for their overall development.

3- Maternal intervention, donation of medical supplies, clothes to a Maternity clinic, Madala, Niger State- February 2015
4- Emergency and Post crisis response, education intervention - Lunch of breakfast feeding program to boost enrollment in a primary school - April 2014
5- Rapid response to provide access to quality healthcare, supporting a dilapidated rural health clinic, donated medical supplies, and maternal health services Ancha, Sanga LGA, Kaduna State - June 2014
6- Provided medical intervention to IDP's settled in Abuja from the north east insurgency - Zyninda, Kuchigoro 2014
7-Supported free medical outreach to Durumi, FCT- 2014
8- Provided free medical care to Kujipi, Karu LGA, Nasarawa State - May 2015
9- Free medical treatment for 10 communities around Ancha, Sanga LGA, Kaduna State December 2014
