Information on the purpose of your organization
We provide safety and security to abused women and their children.
Information on your programmes and activities in areas relevant to the subject of the Summit and in which country or counties they are carried out.
We provide shelter services, transitional housing in the 2nd Stage apartment building, and outreach to our First Nations Communities on women abuse issues, including sexual assault support groups.
Information on activities at the national or international levels
We are a member organization of federal initiatives in Canada such as FAFIA, Canadian Association of Women's Shelters, and the Up for Debate Campaign. We have provided workshops at the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence in Washington, D.C., and will be providing a workshop on court advocacy at the World Conference of Women's Shelters in the Hague in November 2015.
