Information on the purpose of your organization

BCARE?s mission is to prevent further transmission of HIV by reducing new HIV infections using combinations of scientifically proven, cost-effective, and scalable interventions and prevention strategies directed towards the most vulnerable populations who are most affected by, or at greatest risk for HIV infection. Thereby we achieve:

1. Strengthening youth and adult community, 2. Access to Knowledge, awareness and education, diagnosis, treatment, care and support - the keys components. 3. To counter stigma and discrimination, thereby promoting and protecting human rights! 4. Empower the Woman and Children affected and infected!
Information on your programmes and activities in areas relevant to the subject of the Summit and in which country or counties they are carried out.
BCARE carried its activities in India, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Australia, USA, Rwanda, Cameroon, Spain through our AIDS RIDE bicycle marathon project.

Counseling, Awareness and Referral center is an ongoing and continuous project of BCARE. BCARE?s Mobile Counseling through bikes, Emergency or Trauma services for PLHIV and affected referral services to ART or Care and Support or CBOs, PLWHIV and affected, and other sexual minorities like Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer.

Medical & Surgical Treatment- Access to treatment/ Surgeries procedures for PLHIVs & some referrals to Area Hospital- not only people of AP but also for people who come from neighbor towns and cities. Adoption Program- ?Slum Talk AIDS? Nandanavanam, Hyderabad Slums: Follow up campaign for STDs, HIV associated diseases, identifying symptomatic conditions. 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013

Prevention: Awareness and Education for general public- public events across Chittoor Dist., predominantly covering rural areas. Medical & Surgical Treatment- Access to treatment/ Surgeries procedures for PLHIVs & some referrals to Area Hospital- not only people of AP but also for people who come from neighbor towns and cities.

Adoption Program- ?Slum Talk AIDS? Nandanavanam, Hyderabad follow up. Follow up campaign for STDs, HIV associated diseases, identifying symptomatic conditions. 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Network of HIV Positive people- Peace Tiles Project

AIDS RIDE 2014, Hyderabad to Mumbai, is a Bicycle Marathon from Hyderabad to Mumbai, 23rd Nov to 1ST December of the 2013.

BCARE India at the International AIDS Conference Exhibited ?Can I live?? mural at the International AIDS Conference, Toronto, 2006 in collaboration with Ja In Us Arts, Canada, sponsored by Ewa&Bart, Canada, Subash Gupta Veliveti, USA

BCare Research Center: B'Care conducted a number of local community research activities including behavioral studies of different communities, analysis/ needs assessments of different communities, identifying the new elements that spread HIV/AIDS and awareness based on the evidences.

BCare Fine Arts Initiative: Artistic tools for spreading the message of HIV/AIDS.

BCARE together with Canadian delegates unveiled the Beautiful Struggle Mural at the Osmania Govt. General Hospital, the largest hospital in the state. HIV and Motherhood Another mural at the Osmania Hospital, Hyderabad was created to spread awareness on HIV/AIDS to the general public viewers.

Information on activities at the national or international levels
BCARE is globally acclaimed for its role in global bike rides
globally! BCARE got many appreciations, proclamations etc., from different
background people from Ambassadors of India and Senator, Mayors, Presidents
of US/ Australia. BCARE is also expertise in the bicycle marathons not only in
India but also globally connecting the biggest International AIDS Conferences.

BCARE carried 4 International Workshops in training Youth about TB & HIV from
across the world that impacted 8000 kids in the rural India in a span of 3 month,
in partnership with AIESEC Hyderabad. BCARE organized AIDS/TB RUN 2014
in association with AIESEC Hyderabad that impacted 10000 college students
and school going children. BCARE also carried similar impact in Sujatha Public
School, Hyderabad for ACT 2014 a strategy by UNAIDS!
