Muslim Hands is an International relief and development NGO, established in 1993 with the objective of providing relief from poverty and sickness and the provision of education in an ethical, effective, efficient and transparent manner.

Muslim Hands works both directly and has offices in over fifty countries, carrying out short and long-term projects in emergency relief, educational and vocational training, orphan sponsorship, medical care and safe water.

Muslim Hands has received the Investor in People award in the UK and has also achieved the standard ISO 9001:2000. Muslim Hands is registered in the UK with British Overseas NGOs Development (BOND), Department for International Development (DFID) and is a signatory to International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement and NGOs in Disaster Relief.

In all our countries of operation we are providing following services through our long term programmes interventions;

1) Access to primary and secondary education
2) Water, Sanitation, Health and Hygiene
3) Food security
4) Provision of basic health services
5) Livelihood and Income generation
5) Women empowerment
6) Street Children programme
7) Refugees and IDP resettlement
8) Support to offenders and ex-offender
9) Youth empowerment
10) Community Physical Infrastructure
Information on activities at the national or international levels
Muslim Hands has been implementing bother long term as well as emergency relief and rehabilitation projects in over fifty countries since 1993. We are providing access to free and quality education to over 40,000 girls and boys worldwide. Through our water and sanitation project we have built over 15,000 water well in several parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East. In livelihood we have been providing support to low income farmers through our agriculture support projects, we are also helping women to establish small scale enterprises to generate income for their families. We are sponsoring over 12,000 orphans children's worldwide and providing them access to quality education. In health, we are running mother and child health centers in Afghanistan, Somalia and Pakistan. We are also providing basic health services through our basic health units in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. In addition to this we are running psychosocial support center for children?s affected by war in Iraq and Pakistan. In Pakistan and Somalia we are running emergency ambulance services. We are running vocational training centers in various countries providing skilled training to both women and men.

We have also responded to all major emergency and conflict since the Bosnian crisis and have provided essential emerge relief services followed by the long term sustainable development interventions.
