Information on the purpose of your organization
The purpose of our organization is to educate , engage and empower young people , especially girls and through this to promote sustainable lifestyles. We conduct grass roots level community campaigns on stopping land degradation , promote alternate energy , tree planting and also disaster relief and social upliftment.
Information on your programmes and activities in areas relevant to the subject of the Summit and in which country or counties they are carried out.
We conduct environment academies which are workshops to spread awareness about the environment and sustainability. The scope of our work is within the Middle East , India and some parts of Asia.
Our programmes address the core area of Education which we believe leads to empowerment , employment and thus reduces poverty. We work on all three pillars of sustainable development with special focus on involving young people.
Information on activities at the national or international levels
Our major activities have been :
1. Tree planting campaigns in the UAE and India
2. Environment workshops -- since 2012 , we have conducted over 100 workshops across the Middle East , India , Sri Lanka , USA and Canada. We organized a side event at the UN in New York during the IGNs on 29th July , titled "Renewable Energy for Future Generations" .
3. For the last 3 years , we hold an annual conference on World Environment Day engaging hundreds of young people.

4. Charity and Disaster Relief work : we regularly conduct charity drives and support action on disaster relief . Poverty alleviation is the greatest hurdle that the post2015 development agenda needs to surmount and we do a lot of work in this regard.
