Information on the purpose of your organization
Among other objectives, our mission is to support people in disadvantaged areas, through their grassroots organizations, while developing new methods of research into the fight against poverty; to strengthen the capacity of local development actors and support in the development of support strategies of the private sector and civil society; the promotion of education.Some essential and ambitious goals (of course that require the involvement of other favorable factors) are pursued in the short, medium and long term.
Information on your programmes and activities in areas relevant to the subject of the Summit and in which country or counties they are carried out.
More specifically:
- Supporting disadvantaged girls and young boys in skills training and professional integration;
- Accompany women to facilitate their access to decision-making authorities and in developing initiatives to increase their participation while integrating gender in all development sectors.
- Our Programs are designed in such a way that allows for regional, Continental as well well as Inter-Continental collaborations especially in the areas of capacity building for our staff to aid us in stepping down our skills(Training the Trainers)
Information on activities at the national or international levels
- We have carried out extensive sensitization and awareness campaigns all over Benin Republic on the need for young people and especially women to take advantage of our different programs which are being repackaged to reflect contemporary global realities.
- We have recently welcomed an English-speaking partner in our organization from another NGO in Nigeria and he is in the process of restructuring our entire operations. He is IMF/World Bank-Trained especially in the areas of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)
- We are developing curriculum in Basic English for the Youths of the Country so as to broaden their horizon even Internationally.
