Beyond 2015
Information on the purpose of your organization

Beyond 2015 is a global civil society campaign, pushing for a strong and legitimate successor framework to the Millennium Development Goals. Beyond 2015 brings together almost 1500 Civil Society Organisations in over 130 countries around the world. It's two main goals are:
* That there is a global overarching cross-thematic framework for development after 2015.
* That the process of developing this framework is participatory, inclusive and responsive to voices of those directly affected by poverty and injustice.

See details here: http://www.beyond2015.org/policy-action-innovation-fund

At the international level, we have been strongly engaging with the intergovernmental negotiations. bringing global collegaues to all sessions of the IGN and working through our Rapid Response Task Force to respond to the various versions of the Outcome Document. For example, our reaction to the final draft can be found here: http://www.beyond2015.org/sites/default/files/Final%20-%207.28%20Beyond%202015%20key%20comments%20to%20post-2015%20final%20draft.pdf
These reactions are shared with negotiators in New York by our Advocacy Team and members of our UN Working Group, and with governments at the national level by our lead agencies and focal points.

We also organise briefings in New York to highlight key thinking from the campaign.

We are leading on a side event during the September Summit, focusing on building political leadership at the national level. We anticipate having 5 Heads of State and the President of the General Assembly as key speakers.
