Information on the purpose of your organization

National Confederation of Dalit Organisations (NACDOR) is a national platform of Dalit Organisations in India. NACDOR is committed to an inclusive, progressive, secular, democratic and non-sectarian society. While firmly believing in equality, social justice and equal dignity for all, NACDOR promotes democracy, human rights, sustainable development and peace and reconciliation with the perspective of the socially excluded Dalits.
Information on your programmes and activities in areas relevant to the subject of the Summit and in which country or counties they are carried out.
NACDOR have actively participated in the activities around the SDGs by mobilizing dalit, adivasis and other people coming from marginalized and excluded communities, to engage them in the process of the sustanaible development goals. In India we mobilized thousands of people in the Action/2015 campaign through summits, conferences, marches, sit-in, etc. We also engaged with several ministers all around the country to discuss on the SDG agenda and its implementation in india, to not leave any one behind.
Information on activities at the national or international levels
In January 15, in occasion of the Inauguration of Action/2015 campaign, NACDOR organized a Candle Stand Up action in front of the historical Qutub Minar, Delhi. On 28 January we organized in Delhi a consultation on social exclusion, where professors and eminent people have been invited. From January to March, we have been conducted a 100 days 100 district march where more than 10000 people coming from marginalized communities participated. We mobilized people on 1st of May, around 6000, and lead the Labour Rights campaign with the Task Force of Socially Excluded (SETF). Also with the support of SETF we organized a flash mob for social exclusion and against discrimination in Delhi. Meetings at the local level have been organized in occasion of the day of Sexual reproduction on 28th May and on 31 May for Climate Justice. On 11th July in occasion of the FFD3 we have organized a cultural program in Delhi, at the Parliamentary Street, where thousands of youth and activists participated and engaged in short discussions and cultural activities. Media and photographers were also present. The same cultural activities have been organized in 11 districts around India.
