World Bank Group (2nd SE4All Forum Commitments)
Description/achievement of initiative

Sustainable Energy for All is a platform that brings all together countries, companies, international and local organizations. Everyone is now working toward the same clear goals.
The World Bank Group will maintain its active support by co-chairing the SE4All Advisory Board and continuing ground-breaking activities in the energy knowledge space through innovative products like: the Global Tracking Framework, Readiness for Investment in Sustainable Energy (RISE), and the Multiplier Framework approach to energy access.

Implementation methodologies

At the country level, the Group has been mobilizing finance and implementing large scale programs. For example, in Myanmar, investment plans are now in place to increase energy access from its current 30% to 100% of households by 2030. And in Guinea, where less than one in five people have access to electricity, we are helping unlock over 6,000 megawatts of hydro-power potential.

The Organization has committed to ensuring that our investments in sustainable energy can increase income and well-being for women and men, improve food security and nutrition, and reduce time poverty.
With their partners, we will support country-level action in three key areas:
1. Reform of energy sectors to attract investment and deliver to citizens
2. Pipelines of bankable projects focused on access, renewable, energy efficiency, and
3. Mobilization of private capital to leverage public energy spending.
