Description/achievement of initiative

SunSaluter is a non-profit organization which seeks to improve energy access in the developing world by helping local entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses around its innovative solar tracking technology. The SunSaluter is a simple mechanical device which uses only gravity and water to boost solar panel efficiency by 30%, thereby reducing the need for expensive solar panels and making solar energy more affordable. SunSaluter aims to establish operations in 10 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America and distribute 10,000 systems by the end of 2016, which will impact over 60,000 people.
