United Nations Foundation's Energy Access Practitioner Network (2nd SE4All Forum Commitments)
Description/achievement of initiative

In support of SE4All, the United Nations Foundation's Energy Access Practitioner Network promotes universal access to modern energy services via decentralized sustainable household and community-level electrification. It supports innovative financial and business models in predominantly market-based applications that help address development issues such as income generation, health, agriculture, education, small business, and telecommunications, and provides a platform to convene and connect a range of stakeholders around new partnerships and investment in the sector. In the last year, its members have reported installing or selling almost 2.5 million products, providing over 21 million people with sustainable energy solutions.

The Practitioner Network commits to continue its efforts to help catalyze the growth of its 2,000 strong membership delivering decentralized energy solutions around the world, and support its members deliver the following commitments by helping leverage the financing needed to support the work of these enterprises as well as others in its membership.
