CNP-Funded Apprenticeship
Description/achievement of initiative

The Change Nigeria Project kicks-off the pilot phase of the CNP-Funded-Apprenticeship program in July 2016. The purpose of the pilot phase is to not only to test and fine tune the program but to showcase the importance of job creation for poverty reduction strategies, were the qualitative dimensions, skill formation and training aspects are addressed.

Provide a 6-month monitoring and evaluation progress report of the program.

Successfully fill placements with the underemployed and unemployed youths in Nigeria.

Identify and create funded apprenticeship opportunities in Nigeria.

Pilot phase will be reviewed in preparation to scale up the project in July 2017.
