Description/achievement of initiative

DestiNet.eu is an independent portal which brings together the global community of people and organisations working for making tourism more sustainable. The portal leads you to helpful organisations and information sources, potential partners for exchange and collaboration, tools and good practice examples, sustainable tourism certification programmes and their certified products and services world wide.The Green Travel Maps on DestiNet bring destinations and certificates together, mapping eco-certified businesses and destinations, providing transparency on their green proofs, and supporting destinations in managing, monitoring and marketing their green offer. Pilot country is Germany. Interested destinations contact ECOTRANS.
