Description/achievement of initiative
Connected Media Charitable Trust and The Outlook for Someday Project supports the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and partners with the UN to promote an awareness of the SDG's in New Zealand through our website, national workshop project and film challenge. The 17 SDG's will help young people in New Zealand to be able to understand what are the most pressing issues around sustainability in the world today and help them to generate films as resources to be used to educate the community about sustainability issues in New Zealand and beyond.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer
We are currently looking to take on volunteers and interns to help with internal organisational capacity building. We are also looking at ways to improve our fundraising, publicity and media strategy. We currently have a knowledge wiki where we keep institutional knowledge which is updated regularly with new information. We are also currently updating organisational policies and procedures to keep up to date with current legislation.Lastly we are in the process of upgrading and expanding our IT and database capabilities to meet our future needs. Connected Media Charitable Trust was founded in 1993. The Outlook for Someday has been operational as a project since 2007 we find great alignment with the 17 SDG's and see our partnership as an extension of the work and awareness we are already working towards. Meeting the capacity challenges that lay before us, is part of the growth we are aiming for in our work.
Coordination mechanisms/governance structure
Connected Media Charitable Trust will be the major partner in this partnership with The Outlook for Someday Project. Connected Media has a Governance Board and a Management Team.
