Description/achievement of initiative

PAID-WA Vocational Training Initiative is a package comprised of three programs: Green Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and PAID-WA Summer Academy. The Green enterprise is a program wherein all PAID-WA students are compelled to take a highly practical course in course in Agriculture.Entrepreneurship is a program wherein scholarships are given to youths to take a course in Entrepreneurship and the Summer Academy wherein worships are organized to run intensive training in Climate Change Policy and Peace conflict and Humanitarian Operations.

Implementation methodologies

These programs comprising the training are incorporated into the school curricular (calendar) and are coordinated like all the other courses of the school.Students are encouraged to write their business proposals, these are incubated and mentored, upon maturity of plan, PAID-WA provides coaching to students to implement these projects.PAID-WA is seeking to establish a partnership with CCA Bank to fund these projects. This will be done by CCA establishing soft loans to students to fund their projects, loans will be paid over a time frame with little or no interest,.

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Couching and Mentoring Teams have been created to mentor these students while they are implementing their projects until they are capable of implementing the project. They are made to know that PAID-WA is always at their service to assist them.
