Description/achievement of initiative
Shubhakshika Educational Society is an NGO registered with the Registrar Societies under Act 1860. The NGO is running an Open Shelter Home sanctioned by Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) of Department of Women and Child Department, Government NCT of Delhi along with other programmes. Shubhakshika Education Society is engaged in various social welfare projects.
Implementation methodologies
Shubhakshika Education Society is engaged in various social welfare projects, as under:• Open Shelter Home project providing shelter and care to children in need of care & protection.• Non-formal education for the deprived and school drop-out children.• Vocational Training Programme for women & children.• Workshops for Skill Development and Empowerment of Women.• Follow-up Study Programme for Juveniles in conflict with the law. All these projects are taken up and supported by various organizations and indivduals under the common aegis.

The monitoring is done by a core committe and sub committe and the audit is carried out by Government bodies as funding source.
