INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUES THROUGH BEAUTY AS A LANGUAGE OF PEACE
Description/achievement of initiative

The project is proposed by Mr. Makoto Fujimura, Director of the Fujimura Institute, a nonprofit organization, promoting integrated activities aiming to defy fractured and fragmented modern perspectives, bringing together artists, and thinkers, to collaborate to inspire their audience to piece together a whole view of the world.Through art, music and other forms of expressions, beauty can transcend tribal conflicts and provide a deeper base of knowledge toward creation of peace. This project aims to generate opportunities for creation of beauty across cultural domains, and to build a bridge between conflicts among cultures, so creating a common language of peace.
