The objective of this initiative/partnership/commitment is to increse João Gonçalves Zarco school's students awareness and education on climate change and to reduce as much as possible the energetic expenses of this school until June, 2020.The school will be able to do this through various awareness-raising campaigns organized and promoted by an eco-group that analyses, debates on, searches and spreads information about some of the issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals.

This initiative is carried out by an eco-group formed by promising and dedicated students that want to aware and educate the rest of the students and the teachers about climate action.The eco-group is devided in four smaller groups that have different duties, such as searching for information, debating on the information and spreading the information through the school.As the school year's passes by, the students will organize campaigns to spread the word about both the problems and solutions of some of the current issues related to the Global Goals and climate action.

This initiative is governed by João Gonçalves Zarco school's board, students association and by the eco-group commited to organize everytinh related to this initiative.
