Yellow City Community Outreach
Description/achievement of initiative

Many of the homeless in our area do not have dependable food sources. Our team has created a method for establishing a scheduling platform and pre-planned nutritional kits for other organizations to be able to volunteer through the calendar to provide 100 people a single meal for under $100.

Implementation methodologies

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

We partnered with Yellow City Community Outreach to create a scheduling platform for organizations and community groups to sign-up or reserve specific dates, our community can collaborate to have an organized schedule in order to fill a need without wasting resources. We included three starter meal kits to provide pre-planning services that relieve the pressure of organizations trying to create their own menus. The best part of the pre-planned nutritional kits is that each of these 3 kits can feed 100 people for under $100. We call that seeing possibilities and taking action!
