2030 Vision: The Global Goals Technology Forum
Description/achievement of initiative

2030 Vision is a partnership encompassing the private sector, UN agencies, foundations, civil sector organizations and governments. The goal of 2030 Vision is to promote innovation by enhancing the technology sector's understanding of the role of technology in the vision of all sectors engaged in delivering the SDGs; from healthcare to agriculture, logistics to energy and education. It will also promote dialogue between the sectors to understand the potential benefits that technology can bring. By working together, across sectors, we will be able to deliver the technology innovation necessary to achieving the 2030 Goals.

Implementation methodologies

Spanning events, innovation grand challenges on specific issues, industry roundtables and taskforces, and, in time, public-private partnerships to implement solutions, 2030 Vision will help to maximize the potential for technology to support the Goals and inspire innovation. 2030 Vision will be launched at an unprecedented event in London in December 2017. The inaugural forum will provide an opportunity for multinationals, UN agencies and foundations to share their vision on how technology can help achieve their contribution to the 2030 goals with companies from across the breadth of the technology industry.
