Indonesian Waste Platform - Hub
Description/achievement of initiative

Indonesian Waste Platform - hub connecting Government, Universities, Companies, Grass root organizations/NGO/Community initiatives. The hub is used for dissemination of stakeholder's news, data, best-practices, lessons learned, government policies, technical information, research results, questions to peers, introductions, establish Uncommon Collaborations, promote development Circular Economy. Scope: all aspects of land-based and marine-based waste, focus on plastic sources from rivers to ocean, waste awareness & education (commitment #OceanAction23648), IWP hub actively engages stakeholders in the National Plan of Action for Marine Plastics Waste Management. The objective is to collectively support the execution of the actions as described in the strategies in the National Plan for Action, enabling all stakeholders to engage effectively the hub Indonesian Waste Platform, to support stakeholder engagement and implementation strategies of Ocean Action Capacity building stakeholders and strengthening the 'waste network' : IWP organises a series of Solid Waste Management Symposia across Indonesia - Commitment #OceanAction23761 IWP collaborates with the 4 other country & regional hubs - Portugal, Africa, Germany, Australia
