Coordination mechanisms/governance structure
This initiative was created within the UN Global Compact Network Brazil, through the Collaboration Lab methodology. With the coordination of SANASA and Braskem, the Movement for the reduction of water losses in distribution systems:
1) promotes meetings with different stakeholders of the Piracicaba, Capivari and Jundiai Hydrographic basin,
2) produces studies and qualified content to improve common knowledge of water losses and engage local and state government to the issue, and
3) supports the development of public policies that help to achieve the SDG 6, by launching a pilot project working directly with local government and Municipalities.
