Coordination mechanisms/governance structure
Contest
South-South and Triangular Cooperation is a great way for countries to work together in sharing their development solutions with each other. If you are young and/or represent a youth-led organization from a developing country, and interested to make a South-South developmental impact around the world, we invite young people to produce a short film about an existing development solution in their developing country that can be recreated in countries of the Global South.
Award
All relevant solutions submitted for the contest in addition to the shortlisted ones will be promoted globally through the UNDP and United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation networks and the websites. We will help to find potential funding partners to replicate your solution to other Southern countries.
Seven shortlisted videos will be broadcasted and winners will be announced during the Global South-South Development EXPO (GSSD Expo) 2017 as well as during the month after the GSSD Expo 2017 on the website of the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation.
For the purposes of highlighting South-South and Triangular Cooperation, the winning solutions will be awarded the following:
First place: Funds valued up to US$ 5000
Second place: Funds valued up to US$ 2000
Third place: Funds valued up to US$ 1000
*All funds will be used to recreate the development solutions in other locations.
