Project Education - Equity in education across borders & equality in education across genders
Description/achievement of initiative

Project Education is an initiative by GEAERD, which aims at bringing equity in education across borders & equality in education across genders and to keep in mind we work with students & educators across countries and take them through a four stage process Engage, Empower, Innovate & Change.

Implementation methodologies

We have already started the school engagement process and are reaching out to schools, globally, under the School Partner for Global Goals initiative. During SPGG initiative we involve them in different communities, clusters and online forums from where they can get detailed information about SDGs and the changes that people are bringing across countries. We then help them gain skills so that they can work towards identifying the problem, selecting the right goal and start research & development process to innovate a solution which can create impact and is scalable and effective. Once the solution is created, we then support them in its implementation, locally and globally. A detailed report of every innovation will be uploaded on our website and the innovators will them empower other students to implement the same solution in there neighbourhood

Arrangements for Capacity-Building and Technology Transfer

We are collaborating with various organisations which are working towards educating communities toward SDGs and with their support we are empowering our youth and educators. At the same time we are also building our own programs which will bridge the gaps of the current programs offered by different organisations

Coordination mechanisms/governance structure

The entire governance system is created to assure the quality delivery of the product. We give a carefully crafted framework to every school, to help them understand the mechanism and how they can involve their students and teachers in any goal of their choice based on the concern they want to address locally. and run them through series of workshops and documentation processes which our team monitor carefully. We also provide them complete learning & support mechanism, to help them achieve their goals. Our Leaders for Change work as mentor for the schools and are always willing to help them in the designated projects
